Module 2: Emotion Regulation
Learn a mindfulness-based practice that will enable you to manage and direct your emotions in a way that is purposeful and constructive!
Gain an understanding of your own emotions and how they work;
Learn to identify your triggers and know when you are in the “red zone”;
Know what to do when are you are experiencing high levels of emotion;
Be better able to regulate your responses to emotion.
You will know what mindfulness is and how it can benefit you in the context of emotion regulation.
You will walk away with a simple practice that can be used anytime, anywhere.
NOTE We strongly recommend that you have attended Module 1: Introduction to Practical Mindfulness before you attend this module. If you have not, then either book online for that module, or you may purchase the Module 1: Live Recording and Module 1: Session Notes from the shop on this website. For those who have attended Module 1 before, the live recording and notes are recommended for review. There is also a guided audio of the Sensation Meditation available in the shop.
