Online Course | Module 6 : Authentic Being & Relating
By engaging in this module, you will learn some key Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), coaching and mindfulness-based practices. You’ll learn to apply them practically, and that will enable you to redefine your understanding of authenticity—and of the possibilities for your own definition of self and your way of being in and relating to the world.
• Gain an understanding of the link between awareness, presence and authenticity;
• Learn how to generate authenticity from being present, aware and nonjudgemental;
• Learn to apply mindfulness principles and practices to the relating context (work, personal and public);
• Start to develop an authentic personal or leadership brand using the three key elements of mindfulness.
This course consists of 11 lessons. The first few lessons help you to review your experiences and practices since module 5, then it moves into the meat of the subject, which is all about creating and sustaining an authentic way of being and relating to others.
Your participation in this module will empower you to understand what authenticity is and is not. You’ll be introduced to a whole new definition of authenticity that will open up new possibilities for who you can be. It will be yet another giant leap towards having that different, better experience of life!
As with the previous modules, each lesson consists of a combination of video, audioslide, pure audio, as well as reading(s) and/or written exercise(s). There are audio versions of the downloadable documents so you can listen to the reading instead, if that’s your preferred style.
